Tom Brady ties Joe Montana for most TD’s in Super Bowl history
Tom Brady tied Joe Montana for most touchdowns in Super Bowl history.
It’s just the first half, and there is already Super Bowl history being made.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to tight end Rob Gronkowski to put the Patriots in the lead 14-7. Not only did he put his team back in the lead, but he tied San Francisco 49ers great Joe Montana for the most touchdown passes in Super Bowl history.
Granted, it did take Tom Brady two more Super Bowl to reach Joe Montana’s record. Still, it shouldn’t diminish the legacy of Tom Brady and what he has accomplished in his career. Montana also threw to this guy named Jerry Rice. Maybe you’ve heard of him.
Joe Montana also won all four of his Super Bowls that he appeared in. Tom Brady has won three of the five he appeared in, but he has a chance to match Montana in Super Bowl titles as well if he can beat the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX.
