Jacksonville Jaguars

Overview: Nobody has more cash on hand than the Jacksonville Jaguars, but almost nobody has as many holes.

The Jags have $68,477,511 in the bank to spend however they want and with the quarterback of the future (Blake Bortles), several good receivers and an improving offensive line (ranked middle of the road 18 by Pro Football Focus), the basis for a productive offense is there. Again, there is plenty of talent to choose from for them as well, so they could make some huge leaps to improve the team.

Pros: The offensive line needs some help and there are some decent free agents to choose from and while the whole Toby Gerhart thing didn’t quite work out, Denard Robinson played well and there are ample running back free agents to choose from again this year. On top of that, they can easily fill out some wide receiver help as well, and get a veteran to shore up the youngsters they had last season.

On top of that, rumors are that Ndamukong Suh is on their radar and he would be a difference-maker inside. The team isn’t that far off from being good (stop laughing) and they could make a significant leap.

Cons: As with the Jets (and many others on this list), Jacksonville has more holes than they can expect to fill in one free agency class and of course, will be in competition with a ton of other teams for the top players. To some extent it will be interesting to see who they go after hard and whether they can attract top players. A lot of fans and media give Jacksonville a hard time, but very few know what the perception of the franchise is among players. We may find out a lot about that in the coming weeks.
