Antonio Cromartie to the New York Jets
The strength of the Jets defense rests along the defensive line with their pair of stars, Sheldon Richardson and Muhammad Wilkerson. While this does a good job of forcing their opponents to use the short passing game to gain yards, the Jets have a need in the secondary, in particular at cornerback.
The former Jet enjoyed an excellent season opposite Patrick Peterson in Arizona on a one-year deal.
With the exception of the game against the Denver Broncos when Demaryius Thomas went nuclear on the Cardinals, Cromartie shut down most of his opponents. Cromartie would be reuniting with his former team, and reuniting with Jets head coach Todd Bowles, who was his defensive coordinator in Arizona.
