The Frozen Four has featured it’s fair share of awesome moments, but Miami netminder Jay Williams has locked down the save of the year already.

This year’s Frozen Four has been thrilling from the start, with massive upsets of No. 1 seeds and outstanding plays of sheer athleticism. There were no upsets for Miami on Saturday, but the thrilling plays were at a maximum thanks to goalie Jay Williams.
Williams has made a number of impressive saves this season for Miami, but he topped himself — and all other netminders on Saturday — with his incredible save against Providence.

That’s mad skills and proves that goalies are probably one of the most athletic people out there.
Williams and the Red Hawks are in a region that is very winnable, but to get to the Frozen Four they’ll have to get past Denver. That’s a tough matchup, but when your goalie is making those kinds of plays, you get a confidence that can carry a team to a title.
