Rudy Gobert gets a nasty revenge block on Andrew Wiggins (Video)

Rudy Gobert and Andrew Wiggins had eight other players on the court with them tonight, but it was a one-on-one highlight battle between the two of them in the first half.

If you you’re fanning yourself right now it’s probably because you’ve been watching the first half of the Utah Jazz at the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Now, these two teams have absolutely zero playoff hopes and have about a million combined losses (alright, it’s only 98), but they have some young studs who have been going right at each other during the first two quarters.

It all started when Andrew Wiggins got a nice and-one dunk on Rudy Gobert to start the game.

Alright, nothing amazing, but it was still a really nice dunk on one of the best rim protectors in the league. Then Wiggins came back in the next quarter with an MONSTER dunk (and probably the best of his young career).

Did you see how far Wiggins jumped out from? Are you serious? That might just be the best dunk of the entire NBA season. Wiggins isn’t one to show a lot of emotion, but even he had to give out a little battle roar after throwing down that hammer.

Wiggins was winning the battle at the rim 2-0 up to that point, but Gobert was going to get his revenge if Wiggins kept testing him – and revenge he sure got.

This was soon after Wiggins’ second dunk, and you can see how happy Gobert is to finally get Wiggins back.

The Jazz took a 10-point lead into halftime, but all we want to see is more Wiggins on Gobert action.
