Giants fan catches foul ball in beer, chugs it like a champ (Video)
A Giants fan has joined the trend of catching a foul ball in your beer and chugging it.
The odds of a ball landing into a beer cup are pretty rare. The odds of it happening twice in the same day is crazy.

Saturday, during the Giants home game, a foul ball rolled toward the Giants dugout. The ball was thrown to the fans to have as a souvenir.
The first fan who attempted to catch the ball had butterfingers and the ball landed right into an older gentleman’s beer and sprayed everyone around him.
Like a most noble gentleman, the fan chugged the beer down to the roar of the crowd.
Much like throwing an opposing team’s home run back, it appears that if a baseball lands in your beer, the new trend is that you must rise to your feet and chug the beer until it is finished.
The new trend started earlier in the day, when a ball landed in the beer of a female Cubs fan.
Much to the delight of the fans around her, she took the beer and showed true patriotism by finishing the beer right then and there. She also got a free souvenir for her troubles.
So naturally, Sunday it happened again and at the Cubs game again!
Hide your beers at Wrigley Field because balls are looking for beers to land into. With the incredible luck it takes for a baseball to land in a beer, it might be a while before it happens again.
However, when it does, it is that person’s duty to rise to the occasion, salute the crowd and finish the beer right then and there.
If they don’t it’s up to that section to keep them accountable and finish the beer for them.
