1. Loss of DeMarco Murray

Whether you want to believe this or not, DeMarco Murray will have a huge impact on the Cowboys’ playoff and Super Bowl hopes this season. Losing the team’s star running back to the division-rival Eagles has to be something of a nightmare for Cowboys fans.

Murray will be playing with one main goal on his mind: win the division over the Cowboys. I’m sure Murray wants to win a Super Bowl as well, but beating the Cowboys in the division race after they failed to bring him back to Dallas has to be something that has been weighing on his mind a lot lately.

Just how good is Murray and how much offense are the Cowboys going to miss out on? The 27-year-old running back rushed for 1,845 yards and 13 touchdowns last year while catching 57 passes, third on the team, for 416 yards.

Murray was an absolute beast and won’t be replaced to the full extent in Dallas. Sure, the Cowboys could select a running back as there are a ton of solid ones in this year’s NFL Draft, but no one will equal the production of DeMarco — not even recent signee Darren McFadden.

This team just lost a ton of offensive production this offseason and that will greatly hinder any Super Bowl hopes and aspirations of Romo.
