The Colts’ roster needs to grow around Luck

The rest of the Colts roster around Luck is an unfinished product. While wide receiver T.Y. Hilton has emerged as a valuable primary threat in the passing game, the Colts are still in desperate need of a consistent rushing attack, as well as rushing defense. The team has been aggressively adding players in free agency, bringing on Pro Bowl wide receiver Andre Johnson, veteran guard Todd Herremans, running back Frank Gore and edge rusher Trent Cole to supplement the team’s needs in the short term.

As this roster continues to get better and Andrew Luck’s game expands even further, the Colts will continue to have opportunities in the playoffs. The Colts have continued to improve every year with Pagano as the coach, and keeping him on board is the team’s best option for continuing that process.
