Get a sneak peak at Marcus Mariota as a TEnnessee Titan thanks to the video game Madden NFL 15.
Marcus Mariota was drafted to the Tennessee Titans with the number two overall draft pick. Those who can’t wait to see the University of Oregon alum in a Titans jersey need to look no further than his Madden NFL 15 draft card.
The card shows just what the 2014 Heisman Trophy recipient will look like on the field with the Titans. He looks like a natural-born pro. The digital Mariota seems to have enough confidence to carry his team to the Super Bowl. Will the real life Mariota have that same demeanor?
What the card doesn’t show though is just how Mariota will perform as Tennessee’s quarterback. Mariota is going to need to prove himself as a college football quarterback who can adjust his game to fit into the pro play of the NFL.
Being the quarterback for Tenneessee in real life is going to be a lot harder than it would be in Madden. College ball can be considered the pro difficulty level while the NFL is probably more on the level of All-Madden. It is going to be a lot more difficult and unfortunately for real life Mariota, he won’t be able to use any cheat codes to give himself an edge.
It is unclear if you will be able to play as Mariota any time soon. Madden updates their roster during the season so one would assume once the season begins the roster update will become available and Mariota will become a playable character.
If that doesn’t happen though, players can always make him in the create-a-player portion of the game. Or what is most likely is Mariota will be available only in Madden 16, which is set to release August 25th, 2015.
