With Brady speaking for the first time since the report came out, many wondered how Brady would be received.
It was no surprise that he got a resounding positive response from the hometown crowd in attendance.
As Brady walked in, everyone gave the four-time Super Bowl Champion a standing ovation.
Regardless of what role Brady may have played, he is loved by his hometown fans and he told Jim Gray that the report doesn’t take away at all from what the Patriots accomplished.
He said when he digests everything, he will be ready to speak on the situation. Even that canned response brought out a loud cheer from the audience.
Brady might not be popular around the country and after the Wells report, he’s probably even less popular. However, don’t tell the people in the northeast region that.
His star in Massachusetts might be at an all-time high, and the response from the crowd at Salem State University backs that up.
