PF. UCLA. Kevon Looney. 14. player. 149. Much like the Indiana Pacers, the Oklahoma City Thunder were plagued with injury after injury that forced them out of playoff contention. The good news is they get a solid draft pick and have plenty of young talent to develop to play next to Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.
The question is what does this NBA title contending team actually need? Durant and Westbrook will eat up any scoring that a rookie might take. So it sounds like defense and rebounding might be on the agenda for the Thunder when they select a rookie.

Which is why Kevon Looney makes a whole lot of sense. He is used to playing next to a prolific scoring point guard at UCLA in Bryce Alford. He saw most of his offensive production come from hustle plays, snagging offensive boards and running the floor. Just as the Cleveland Cavaliers use Tristan Thompson, the Thunder could do the same Kevon Looney.
