Ohio State. D'Angelo Russell. 7. player. 73. The Denver Nuggets are going to suffer for the next couple of years in the NBA. They just don’t have the talent to be a legitimate winning team. So it’s back to the drawing boards for the Nuggets. One of the first names that should pop up on what’s next in Denver is D’Angelo Russell.
Russel proved himself as one of college basketball’s premiere players leading Ohio State to the second round of the NCAA tournament. His excellent shooting ability and smart decision making set him a part in this draft class. He is a guy that just understands the game of basketball and will outsmart you before he has to use his 6’5 frame to outsize you.

For the Nuggets, Russell would play next to Ty Lawson. While their play styles couldn’t be more different, this would prove difficult to guard as Lawson relies on his speed and passing while Russell can either knock down an open shot or get to the basket successfully. If the Nuggets select Russell, the future would look that much brighter in Denver.
. G
