60. . QB. Minnesota Vikings. Teddy Bridgewater. 10. player

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was my guy in the last draft class and I remain confident he’s going to end up the best of the bunch from it. He played well last season and now has Adrian Peterson back in the fold. While it’s possible that Peterson gets traded or something before camp, ultimately the team knows it is better off with him and will try to smooth over the relationship.

So by next season, everything should be fine again with Peterson and he’ll finish out his career as a Viking, which is nothing but good for Bridgewater.

Bridgewater had a lot of doubts going into last season—many of them were, frankly, borderline ridiculous—and proved virtually all of them wrong. While he continues to need to work on his long-distance accuracy, I expect that to be a focus this year and by 2016 he’ll be just fine.

At that point, he’ll have a perfect grasp of the playbook, be comfortable with his weapons (which should be added to) and continue to benefit from a very good defense. With Peterson to keep opposing defenses honest, Bridgewater will also have more time to throw, though he fared relatively well under pressure and did a good job when getting blitzed.

Bridgewater’s NFL Rating went up tremendously by the end of 2014, so I expect it to continue to improve heading into—and during the course of—the 2016 NFL season.

By the end of 2015, Bridgewater should have this offense humming along, which puts him in position to have an excellent 2016.
