The NBA Finals tip-off tonight, and LeBron James is sporting some signature gold shoes that will make your brain melt. 

It’s the first time in almost a decade that the Cleveland Cavaliers are in the NBA Finals, as it’s only the second time in his career that LeBron James has guided the franchise this far. It’s a moment that’s not lost on the superstar, as he’s living up the moment as lavishly as he can without actually winning a game.

LeBron James is 0-4 in the NBA Finals with the Cavaliers, but he’s coming out strong in the fashion game to start things off this year.

For the NBA Finals, LeBron James is coming out flashy, boasting a pair of shiny gold shoes to let the world know that he’s arrived back in the Finals with Cleveland for the first time since 2007.

The NBA Finals have not been kind to LeBron James when he’s with the Cavaliers, as he had an abundance of success as soon as he left but never with his original team. There might be a curse over the Cavaliers, but if there’s something that can break a curse, it’s shoes like those.

You don’t wear shoes dipped in gold like that and not ant your presence known. LeBron James is probably the most aware person in the world when it comes to his NBA Finals failures with the Cavaliers, and this is more than a fashion statement.

LeBron James is walking into the Golden State with more gold than anyone in the building — and he wants that known.
