7. D.J. LeMahieu-2B-Colorado Rockes: LeMahieu has been on a roll lately and is in a good matchup tonight as the Rockies host Miami. In his career, LeMahieu is 6-9 (.667) against tonight’s starter Tom Koehler with one of those six hits being a triple.

6. Adam Jones-OF-Baltimore Orioles: After playing the hero with his tie-breaking home run yesterday afternoon, Adam Jones will try to continue his success as the Orioles shift from Houston to Cleveland and take on Shaun Marcum tonight.  Jones is 8-21 (.381) with a triple and a home run against Marcum in his career, so look for another good night for the Orioles star center fielder.

5. Rajai Davis-OF-Detroit Tigers: Davis is the second member of the Tigers on the list for today as Detroit tries to get its offense back in gear.  Taking on the White Sox’ Jose Quintana is a good start for Davis who is 11-31 (.355) with three doubles and a home run off of Quintana in the past.

4. Alex Rodriguez-DH-New York Yankees: The Yankees and Angels meet tonight int he Bronx in the featured game on the MLB Network.  A-Rod and company will take on Jered Weaver which set up well for Rodriguez who has hit him extremely well in his career.  Rodriguez has five home runs off of Weaver in the past along with a pair of doubles while going 9-26 (.346) with seven RBI.
