7. Ryan Howard-1B-Philadelphia Phillies: Ryan Howard and the Phillies are in Cincinnati tonight to face the Reds for their second series in the last two weeks.  Tonight, they’ll take on Mike Leake which should result in a good night for Ryan Howard.  Howard has gone 6-18 (.333) with a pair of doubles against Leake in the past with a pair of doubles and four RBI.

6. Alcides Escobar-SS-Kansas City Royals: In the AL Central, the Twins and Royals face off as probable starters Phil Hughes and Jason Vargas come in with a long track record against their opponents. The Royals typically hit Hughes pretty well starting with Escobar who is 6-17  (.353) with a double and a home run against Hughes in the past. (More from this game later)

5. Carlos Gomez-OF-Milwaukee Brewers: Gomez and the Brewers will look to solve A.J. Burnett at PNC Park tonight. Gomez has hit him fairly well in their meetings in the past going 6-19 (.316) with a pair of doubles and a pair of RBI.

4. Torii Hunter-Of-Minnesota Twins: Since both are long-time American Leaguers, Torii Hunter has a long history against Jason Vargas.  Hunter has got the best of most of their meetings going 16-48 (.333) with six doubles and four RBI against the veteran lefty.
