Will Bulls re-sign Aaron Brooks?

The man who filled in for Derrick Rose this season was Aaron Brooks. He did such a swell job that he might find himself landing a starting role or a different back up job that will pay better. Brooks also saw his career get revitalized under head coach Tom Thibodeau, who has a habit of making point guards into stars.

However, it might not be the best idea to sign Aaron Brooks anyways. He is getting up there in age. And with the draft pool so littered with point guards this year, it may be time to sign on a young guy who can be the future of the Bulls rather than resigning Aaron Brooks who has seen his better days pass.

Still, whatever the Bulls decide to do with Brooks won’t make or break their team right now. As far as I’m concerned he is more or less expendable, and I’m sure they will find a replacement for him in free agency or the draft if they decide not to pick him back up for the upcoming season.
