Tag Team Championship Match: New Day (c) vs. Prime Time Players

New Day continues to be one of the best things on WWE television right now, playing their characters to perfection. In the opposite corner, though, Titus O’Neil is looking the best he has in his career and looks to be in line for a major push considering how powerful he’s come off in recent weeks.

The Prime Time Players won a Triple Threat on Smackdown a week ago to become the number one contenders for the tag titles. This came after a strong showing in the first ever Tag Team Elimination Chamber Match, though they were the ones to take the final fall in that match.

Another thing to keep an eye on in this match is who will be competing from New Day. Kofi Kingston is involved in the Money In The Bank Contract Ladder Match, meaning we could see the Freebird Rule in play and Xavier Woods competing alongside Big E. Nothing is certain, but that seems like a quality time to use the Freebird Rule.

Expect O’Neil to look strong in this match, much like he has over the past two weeks. It seems pretty clear that WWE wants to feature his strength and power to help build him for something in the future. That being said, I have New Day retaining their titles in this match. They are rolling right now as champions and the crowd is emphatically involved in their act. I don’t see WWE wanting to stray from that being at the forefront of the tag division just yet.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Dean Ambrose

Rollins vs. Ambrose is happening for the second consecutive PPV, this time with the belt hanging above the ring in a ladder match. You have my permission to be giddy with excitement over this match.

These two have proven again and again that they can deliver when given the time and the spotlight in the ring. Throw in some great storytelling involving Ambrose’s DQ victory at Elimination Chamber and then taking the title belt hostage and there’s a compelling angle occurring right now.

Another thing to look out for is how The Authority is involved with Rollins. Much of this week’s episode of RAW was spent focused on Rollins “doing it on his own.” After losing to J&J Security in the main event of RAW, it’ll be interesting to see if they or anyone else is in his corner for this match.

While the thought of Ambrose taking the title here is intriguing for his character and as to where Creative could take the story from there, it doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen. With Brock Lesnar scheduled to return on the June 22 episode of RAW, I would expect Rollins to walk away from Money In The Bank still champion to continue his feud with Lesnar.
