FanDuel fantasy baseball tips: Top 10 batter vs pitcher matchups-6/29
7. Brandon Phillips-2B-Cincinnati Reds: Make sure to double check the Reds lineup before playing Phillips, but he has numbers that are too good to not to at least give him a look today as the Reds host Mike Pelfrey and the Twins. Phillips is 7-19 (.368) with a double, home run, and four RBI against Pelfrey in the past, but Phillips is also dealing with a pair of hand injuries which have his status for tonight’s game up in the air at this point.
6. J.J. Hardy-SS-Baltimore Orioles: Baltimore has been on a roll having won seven of their last eight after taking both halves of a double-header yesterday at Camden Yards against the Indians. Tonight, they welcome in the Rangers and starting pitcher Wandy Rodriguez. One hitter who has a good history against Wandy is J.J. Hardy who has hit him hard going 7-24 (.292) with six extra base hits including four doubles and a pair of home runs.
5. Joey Votto-1B-Cincinnati Reds: Votto had a horrible series against the Mets, and he’ll loot to turn the page today as the Reds take on the Twins in their interleague tilt. Votto could be in a place to turn things around quickly since he is 5-14 (.357) with a double and three home runs off of Pelfrey in his career.
4. Xander Bogaerts-SS-Boston Red Sox: The top four picks today all come from the same game which is scheduled for tonight North of the border in Toronto. The Red Sox face Blue Jays starter R.A. Dickey once again who they have hit well this season. One of the Sox to try and get in your lineup is Xander Bogaerts who has been swinging a hot bat lately and is 8-20 (.400) in his career against Dickey with a pair of doubles and three RBI.
