Sleeper Options

17. Wisler is making his fourth start of his MLB career today in Milwaukee.  Two have been impressive, but the other was a rough outing in Washington where he allows six runs (four earned) in just four innings.  Wisely has shown he can turn in good games, but his lack of experience makes him a roll of the dice tonight in Milwaukee.. Atlanta Braves. @ Brewers. Matt Wisler. 13. player

12. player. 3. Niese is normally a pretty solid affordable starter, but he had a rough May before putting together a much better June. He went 0-3 during the month due to lack of run support despite a 3.00 ERA and quality starts in each of his five starts.  Niese is a decent option, but he is hard to bet on given the Mets offensive woes lately.. New York Mets. @ Giants. Jonathon Niese

Chris Heston. 11. player. 31. Heston threw a no-hitter in his last start against the Mets and faces them again tonight at AT&T Park.  Since the no-hitter, Heston has allowed three runs or fewer in four starts but hasn’t been able to pitch into the seventh except for one time.  Heston struck out 11 during his no-hitter but has only 14 strikeouts in his four starts since.  It’s a great matchup for Heston which makes him a sleeper tonight, but he isn’t an elite option since he’s only 8-5 with a 3.78 ERA.. San Francisco Giants. vs Mets

11. Chen has quietly put together a nice season for Baltimore going just 4-4 but with a nice 2.84 ERA in his 15 starts. He takes on a solid Twins lineup tonight, but he has allowed two runs or fewer in five straight starts making him worth a look as a solid sleeper play.. Baltimore Orioles. @ Twins. Wei-Yin Chen. 10. player
