  • Fielder, now in his second season with the Texas Rangers, watched as his new team fell to the bottom of the AL West last season. Once he stepped on the field to start the 2015 campaign, he looked like he was playing with something to prove.

Actually, that was the case as he was gathering doubters left and right, especially including his less than graceful departure from Detroit. However, he has been on fire ever since Opening Day and is on pace to break some career-highs.

Fielder has only hit over .300 just one time in his career, but he is exceeding that, by a long shot, right now with a .346 batting average. He also has 12 homers and 46 RBI.

The Rangers may not be in first place in the division as we speak, but they are making moves and could make a push for the postseason after the All Star break.

It looks like Fielder has made all the difference for this squad, earning him the No. 2 spot on this list.
