Gilbert Arenas Gets Buckets at Orange County Fair
As the Orange County Fair found out this weekend, just because Gilbert Arenas has retired from the NBA it doesn’t mean that he has stopped getting buckets. Arenas posted a wonderful picture from his trip with his kids showing off his winnings from the basketball games all around the fair with the message that he had been banned from every basketball game at the event.

That is just a wonderful job of shooting from Arenas who clearly made about 100 shots to claim all of those prizes. The best part though is the part of the caption saying “I screamed hibachi” because now I cannot stop imagining Gilbert walking around the fair and cleaning out the prize at every basketball game while screaming hibachi with every shot.
It also would have been pretty great to be a fly on the wall during the conversation banning Gilbert from the basketball games at the fair, which seems kind of wrong to do. If Arenas is willing to pay for his shots he should be able to take them. After all the only people getting hurt by this are kids who can’t make shots and Gilbert was just teaching them a few life lessons like “life is not always fair” and “you don’t always get a prize”. The fact that his kid is the one going home with a minion that is bigger than he is, is just a bonus for Gilbert.
