Honorable Mention: Drew Stubbs-Of-Colorado Rockies, Mark Trumbo-OF-Seattle Mariners, Jonathan Lucroy-C-Milwuakee, Xander Bogaerts-SS-Boston Red Sox

10. Melky Cabrera-OF-Chicago White Sox: Cabrera will look to stay hot against his former team as the White Sox look to take the rubber game of their three game set against the Yankees.  This afternoon, Cabrera will face Ivan Nova who he has gone 6-9 (.667) against in the past with a double and a pair of home runs.

9. Carlos Beltran-OF-New York Yankees: On the other side of that same matchup, the Yankees have to deal with Jeff Samardzija who has been pitching well lately.  One Yankee who has hit him well in the past, though, is Carlos Beltran who comes into today’s game 5-14 (.357) against him including a double and a home run.

8. David DeJesus-OF-Los Angeles Angels: The Angels acquired DeJesus as one of their many new outfield options as they seek to fill their void in the corner spot next to Mike Trout and Kole Calhoun.  If DeJesus gets the start today, he’ll face another trade deadline acquisition as the Angels face new-Dodger Mat Latos.  DeJesus is 6-17 (.353) in his career against Latos with a pair of doubles and a home run.
