The team at Nylon Calculus is excited to introduce a new video series, tentatively titled Inside The Numbers.  The aim of the series is to provide short, meaningful analytics based insights that is both interesting and entertaining.  While the scope of these videos will often only skim the surface of a topic, we hope that you find the content and format enjoyable.

In today’s edition of Inside the Numbers, Adam Mares and Adam Yudelman discuss Adam Y’s recent articles on the effect that rest has on shot location and field goal efficiency.  It is a well known fact that teams playing on the 2nd night of a back-to-back tend to struggle, Adam Y explains what the data reveals about offensive performance on back-to-backs and then explains how the 2015/16 NBA schedule is much improved, but still has a few small inequalities.
