7. Daniel Nava-OF-Tampa Bay Rays: Since joining the Rays, Daniel Nava has hit .250 (11-44) with a home run and a .707 OPS.  Tonight, he and Tampa open their series against the Orioles facing Wei-Yin Chen who Nava has gone 7-16 (.438) against in his past at-bats including a homer and three RBI.

6. Logan Forsythe-2B-Tampa Bay Rays: Another option from Tampa to consider is Logan Forsythe who can fill a couple of infield roles depending on your team need.  Forsythe is 7-22 (.318) against Chen in his career but he gets the edge over Nava based on his power production against Chen since he has a double, three home runs, and six RBI in their previous meetings.

5. Mark Trumbo-DH-Seattle Mariners: The Mariners split a four-game set in Chicago against the White Sox and now head south to take on their AL West division rivals in Houston.  The Astros will start Dallas Keuchel in the series opener, but that doesn’t necessarily mean an impossible matchup for the M’s.  Two Mariners make my top ten batter vs pitcher list today starting with Trumbo who is 5-10 (.500) against Keuchel in his career with a double, two triples, two home runs, and six RBI.

4. Jacoby Ellsbury-OF-New York Yankees: Ellsbury returns to Fenway Park as the Yankees and Red Sox meet in Boston tonight.  Ellsbury has had success against his former team since leaving the team, and tonight he’s set up to keep things rolling as he faces Eduardo Rodriguez who he already has a pair of home runs against this season while going 4-7 (.571) in their career meetings.
