Brian Hartline-Cleveland Browns

Somebody has to catch the ball in Cleveland, right? The Browns have stocked their wide receiver corps with a whole lot of nothing and their big signing of Dwayne Bowe is already starting out on the wrong foot since Bowe can’t stay healthy.

Hartline had only one catch in the Browns “dress rehearsal” in week 3 of the preseason, but it was for a touchdown from starter Josh McCown.  Hartline could easily lead the team in targets and receiving if Bowe continues to miss time or play at less than 100%.

Since the Browns offense isn’t expected to be great, having their top receiver may not be an exceptional option, but if Hartline gets red zone looks and Cleveland is playing from behind he’ll have the potential for some big weeks.  Hartline is a solid option for the back of your receiving corps to start the year, and he could grow into more if the rest of the Browns’ receivers continue to stumble.
