20. Mike Napoli-1B-Texas Rangers: We start our top 20 with a look at the Rangers who are in Los Angeles trying to stay ahead of the Angels.  Tonight, they’ll face Garrett Richards which sets up nicely for Mike Napoli if he gets the start against his former team.  Napoli has gone 5-9 (.556) in the past against Richards with a double, a pair of home runs, and four RBI.

19. Charlie Blackmon-OF-Colorado Rockies: The Rockies are playing at home, so don’t overlook the potential scoring-fest at Coors Field.  As they face Chris Heston of the Giants, the Colorado hitter with the best track batter vs pitcher track record is leadoff specialist Charlie Blackmon who comes in 5-9 (.556) with a pair of homers and three RBI against Heston in his career.

18. Jacoby Ellsbury-OF-New York Yankees: Ellsbury is the first of a pair of Bronx Bombers on my list for today as the Yankees host Tampa Bay this weekend as they continue to try and chase down the Blue Jays in the AL East.  Tonight, Ellsbury and the Yankees will face Jake Odorizzi who Ells is 6-18 (.333) with a double against in their previous meetings.

17. Adrian Gonzalez-1B-Los Angeles Dodgers: After sweeping the Giants to start the week, the Dodgers dropped a game last night to the Padres.  They’ll look to bounce back today as they face James Shields who several Dodgers’ hitters have favorable matchups against.  Former-Padre Adrian Gonzalez is the first Dodger on the list coming in 10-32 (.313) against Shields with a pair of home runs.
