Tyler Eifert-TE-Cincinnati Bengals (43.0%)

If you missed out on an elite tight end or are looking for depth at the position, there were some great options that emerged at the position in week one.  My favorite widely available tight end before week 1 was Tyler Eifert, and he put up a monster week against the Raiders.  If he’s available in your league, he’s a must-add at this point given how often he was targeted in the Bengals’ win week 1.

Eifert  was targeted a team-high 12 times by Andy Dalton finishing with nine catches and 104 yards with a pair of touchdowns.  No tight end in the NFL–not even Gronk–had more catches or more targets in week 1. Eifert destroyed the Raiders in week 1, but unfortunately for his owners, he won’t get such a cushy matchup every week.

A.J. Green will most likely lead the Bengals in targets for the season, but Eifert is obviously set up to be a huge part of the Bengals passing attack.  He was set up for a breakout season last year, but he blew out his elbow in week 1.  This season started significantly better for the former golden-domer from Notre Dame, and he should be owned in all leagues going forward.
