Carson Palmer-QB-Arizona Cardinals (48.0%)

The Cardinals welcomed back their starting QB in week one with a nice home win against the Saints.  Carson Palmer was sorely missed last season during the Cardinals QB woes leading up to and into the playoffs, but he looked like he didn’t miss a beat as he came back strong against the Saints extending his multi-touchdown pass streak to his last seven healthy games.

He finished with an impressive 307 yards to go with his three touchdowns in week 1.  His three touchdowns came to three different receivers, and he has a solid array of weapons in Coach Bruce Arians pass-heavy offense.

Only Tom Brady had more fantasy points at QB in ESPN standard scoring in week 1, and the Cardinals have another great matchup in week 2 setting Palmer up for continued success.  After opening the season at home, Palmer and the Cards visit the Bears  in week 2 who were torn up by Aaron Rodgers in their week 1 loss.

With his injury history, Palmer is still a risk to have as the only QB on your roster.  If you have another option to blend in with Palmer or you are in a two-QB league he’s a great starter.  No matter what format you’re playing, he’s the top quarterback who is widely available.  Before I get angry Ducks and Titans fans flooding the comments, I do like Marcus Mariota, but I would like to see more than one game against the Bucs before moving him ahead of Palmer on my pickup list.
