Josh Robinson-Indianapolis Colts (4.9%)

The Colts running back situation didn’t look great in week 1.  Frank Gore struggled and missed some time with cramping leaving plenty of work for rookie Josh Robinson who is Gore’s primary backup.

Robinson ended up with just 11 yards on his four carries and wasn’t targeted in the passing game, but he was clearly the number two back behind Gore.  I think the Colts offense will recover just fine starting this week as they return home to face the Jets on Monday Night Football.

Even though the matchup is not a great one for this week, Robinson is worth stashing if you need an option with long-term upside.  If Gore continues to look his age, Robinson’s role could grow throughout the season, and I think Andrew Luck and the Colts’ offense will kick things into gear especially when they get to their cushy divisional games.
