Denard Robinson-Jacksonville Jaguars (35.4%)

If you’re digging this deep in the waiver wire running backs, you’re playing in a deep league where most of the options are off the board.  If that’s the case or you need a one-week flier, Denard Robinson is worth a look.

Robinson is clearly behind rookie T.J. Yeldon in the Jaguars timeshare, but it does look like he’ll get enough touches to be able to hit a home run some weeks and produce decent numbers.  In week 1, the Jaguars only managed nine points against the Carolina Panthers, but fantasy football owners were able to get a look at how Coach Gus Bradley wants to divide the touches in the backfield.  Yeldon got 12 carries which he took for 51 yards and also caught three passes for 16 more.  In comparison, Robinson got five carries and two catches finishing with 19 rushing yards and 26 receiving yards.

Robinson is a solid change-of-pace option, and he showed last year that he can produce when he gets consistent touches.  While his ceiling is limited while Yeldon is healthy, he should get enough touches every week to make him a low-end option at flex in ultra-deep leagues.
