7. Kenny Britt-St. Louis Rams (7.3%)

Britt has been a long-time fantasy football tease with a few big games when healthy and a bevy of injuries which have kept him from realizing his full fantasy potential.  This last week was another reminder of how good he could be, but it was followed by news of a new injury.

Against the Steelers, Britt was targeted a team-high ten times hauling in seven catches for 102 yards.  In week 2, he only had 44 yards but he did get the Rams only touchdown.  Britt would be much higher on my list of waiver wire wide receivers if it wasn’t for news of a “little bit of a shoulder issue” which is keeping him out of practice. While it doesn’t sound too major, owners have been down this road with Britt before.

Britt could emerge as the Rams top receiver with Brian Quick still not back from the catastrophic injury he suffered last year.  He definitely has the attention of Nick Foles and gets more targets than any other receiver in St. Louis.  This week, the Rams will need a big game from Britt as they travel to Arizona where they’ll face the red-hot Cardinals in an NFC West clash.
