RB Studs

Devonta Freeman-Atlanta Falcons: Freeman put up a second monster week in a row finishing with three touchdowns in the Falcons’ 48-21 romp over the Texans.  Freeman finished with 68 yards on 14 carries while adding 81 yards on five catches. He has totaled six touchdowns in the last two weeks with over 300 all-purpose yards.

Jeremy Hill-Cincinnati Bengals: Hill had a couple of rough weeks and lost part of his timeshare to Gio Bernard.  This week, he bounced back even though he still only had nine carries since he ended up with three touchdowns  and 40 yards.  He may not be back to his full workload, but he can definitely still deliver when he gets the red zone work like he did against the Chiefs on Sunday.

Chris Ivory-New York Jets: The Jets dominated the Dolphins in London, and Chris Ivory set the physical tone with his bruising style. He finished the game with 29 carries for 166 yards and a touchdown which gave him a very nice stat line even though he didn’t catch either of the two passes thrown his way.

Le’Veon Bell-Pittsburgh Steelers: Bell will be looked to even more as the Steelers’ go-to option on offense with Big Ben sidelined. He had 22 carries against the Ravens finishing with 129 yards and a touchdown while adding seven catches for 21 yards.

Adrian Peterson-Minnesota Vikings: Peterson continued his recent resurgene with another big game as the Vikings fell just short of beating the Broncos in Denver.  He ran for 81 yards and a touchdown on his 16 carries and added 13 yards on four catches.

Todd Gurley-St. Louis Rams: Gurley showed why he should be a fixture on this “studs” list for a long time to come with a big breakout game in the Rams win in Arizona.  Gurley ran the ball 19 times for 146 yards and added 15 yards on his two catches.  He didn’t get into the end zone, but he still had a huge game for his first week getting meaningful work in the Rams backfield.
