WR Duds

Antonio Brown-Pittsburgh Steelers: Brown’s letdown is definitely due to Michael Vick at center instead of Big Ben, but there were still plays to be made even though Brown failed to make him in the Steelers loss to the Ravens. Brown had just five catches for 42 yards on Thursday night.

Odell Beckham Jr.-New York Giants: Another stud wide receiver with an off week was Odell Beckham Jr. who hauled in just five ons his 12 targets for only 38 yards.

Julio Jones-Atlanta Falcons: Jones had 38 yards just like Beckham, but his was dictated by game circumstance since it was due to the Falcons blowing the Texans away early leaving very little needed from the passing game.

Randall Cobb-Green Bay Packers: Cobb wasn’t spared the letdown day for the elite options finishing with just 44 yards on his five catches.  He still led the team in targets and should be fine going forward, but this week he didn’t deliver.

Andre Johnson-Indianapolis Colts: Johnson was held catchless again this week giving him zero catches on three targets in his last two games.  At this point, Johnson should definitely be on your bench and could be cut if there is a more attractive option on the waiver wire.

Mike Evans-Tampa Bay Buccaneers: While he hasn’t disappointed like Johnson, Evans has also struggled this year and only finished with 32 yards on three catches in this game.  He was targeted a total of 25 times the last two weeks, though, so he’s still a nice play.
