4. Kansas City Chiefs

We have another 1-3 team on this list, which again may seem strange. However, the Kansas City Chiefs are another team that has a matchup against a team with the same record and is favored by an inexplicably wide margin in that game. That opponent is the Chicago Bears.

I’m not going to pretend like the Bears are in a good place right now, because they aren’t. They’ve been having a fire sale on the defensive side of the ball and their already thin offensive line is banged up as they go on the road to Kansas City. However, they do have Jay Cutler back running the offense and they do have guys who are legitimate, elite talents like Matt Forte. It’s important that they have those types of players and have shown fight when Cutler is on the field, even if that’s only yielded one win.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs just haven’t been a team that scares you, especially over the past two weeks. The only time they’ve looked remotely dangerous offensively is when they had to because they were trailing by a wide margin and trying to make a come back. A team with an offense that has looked that limited this season shouldn’t be favored by a great deal against anyone, much less be favored by 10.5 points in a game. For that, the Chiefs are getting put on early upset alert.
