5. Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens are 1-3 heading into this week, which obviously begs the question as to how they could possibly be on upset alert. That can all be explained by looking at the point spread for their Week 5 matchup as the Ravens are favored by seven points at home against the Cleveland Browns.

The Browns aren’t exactly a team of world-beaters to this point in the season, sporting a lackluster 1-3 record themselves at this point. However, they haven’t looked any worse than the Ravens have after four weeks. In fact, there’s a strong argument to be made that Baltimore has looked far worse this season than the Browns.

Think about it; the Ravens just gained their first win of the season last Thursday, and that was against a Pittsburgh Steelers team that was starting Michael Vick at quarterback—and Baltimore still barely won. Meanwhile the Browns have at least been competitive over the past three weeks, picking up a win along the way. They have simply looked far more inspired and, frankly, talented than Baltimore has through the first four weeks of the 2015 season. Baltimore should not be favored by seven in this game and quite possibly shouldn’t be favored at all.
