WR Duds

Vincent Jackson-Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jackson was huge last week with ten catches for 147 yards but came crashing back to earth with just one catch for 14 yards in the Bucs’ win over Jacksonville.  Jackson has has this kind of pattern in his career making him the definition of a boom-or-bust option.

Randall Cobb-Green Bay Packers: Cobb only had three catches on his six targets for 23 yards. Even after a down week, he’s an elite WR1 for week 6.

Terrance Williams-Dallas Cowboys: Any fantasy potential that Williams had to replace Dez Bryant went away as soon as Brandon Weeden became the QB.  Williams only had two catches for 30 yards and can be dropped in almost all formats at this point.

Donte Moncrief-Indianapolis Colts: Moncrief took a back seat to Andre Johnson and the old folks show on Thursday in Houston finishing with just one catch for three yards. He should bounce back once Andrew Luck returns, but until then there are better options available.

Percy Harvin-Buffalo Bills: Harvin took the collar catching none of his four targets in the Bills’ struggling passing game.  Even with Sammy Watkins out, Harvin has shown himself to be too inconsistent to rely on for fantasy.

Leonard Hankerson-Atlanta Falcons: Hankerson missed some time against his former team as the Falcons took on the Redskins, but he was able to return from his rib injury in the second half.  Unfortunately, he wasn’t very effective finishing with just one catch for 13 yards on his four targets.

Kendall Wright-Tennessee Titans: Wright’s roller-coaster of a season continued as he was held to just 29 yards on three catches this week by the Bills who did a good job keeping Marcus Mariota looking like a rookie.
