Blake Bortles-QB-Jacksonville Jaguars (27.1%)

Bottles threw for four touchdowns last week while completing 23 of his 33 passes for 303 yards.  His special teams and his defense didn’t help him at all and a costly late fumble coupled with his interception ultimately were too much for Jacksonville to overcome.

Bortles also suffered a grade 1 shoulder sprain in his non-throwing shoulder in the loss in Tampa, but the injury isn’t expected to cost him any time.  Bortles has some solid offensive firepower to work with on offense with Hurns and Robinson as nice young receivers, T.J. Yeldon adjusting nicely to the NFL, and Julius Thomas returning from injury.

Against the Texans last week, Matt Hasslebeck even put up solid numbers, so don’t be surprised if Bortles can continue his momentum with a second big week in a row.  He has multiple passing TD’s in three of his last four games and has only been held under 240 yards once this season. He isn’t an elite option, for sure, but he’s the best widely available option for a one-week fill-in week 6.
