The Dallas Cowboys thoroughly enjoyed the luxury of having a great running back in 2014 with DeMarco Murray helping them land an NFC East title. However, following last season he departed to the Eagles and the Cowboys do not really have a franchise back that can be there for Tony Romo when he needs him.
Well, there is where Ezekiel Elliott of Ohio State enters into the equation.

Elliott really burst onto the scene when he basically took Ohio State on his back and carried them to the national championship with wins over Alabama and Oregon. In both of those games, he torched the defenses with his bruising and explosive running style. That’s what’s so unique about Elliott: He’s not only one of the fastest running backs coming out, but he’s an absolute bulldozer as well. Basically, he’s the complete package and exactly what this Cowboys offense needs. We learned that Romo can only do so much on his own, and Elliott could be the man that looks at him when he needs him and says, “I’ve got you, gimme the ball.”

He raced to over 1,800 yards in 2014 and he’s already up to 875 yards here in 2015. No doubt, especially in this Cowboys offense, he can add to how many times he’s rushed for 1,000 yards in his life.
. RB. Ohio State. Ezekiel Elliott. 11. player. 123
