The Packers are on the backend of the first round so why not take a flier and make a dynamic offense even more potent. As they found out this preseason when Jordy Nelson tore his ACL, a team can never have too many playmakers. Enter Evan Engram, tight end for the Ole Miss Rebels.

Engram is in the variety of a new-age tight end – the Eric Ebron mold. He’s a 6’3″ 227-pound speedster who can be a downfield threat. The versatile tight end has good hands and plays like a quick receiver, possessing the ability to dust defenders, but can also extend plays due to his size. Beyond that, he has shown the ability to stay in the box and chip blocks to buy his quarterback time.

Engram has been a vial member of the Rebels’ offense, which ranks No. 11 in the nation in both passing and total offense. This year, he has tallied 13.7 yards per catch during the team’s first six games; last season his ypc was a jaw-dropping 17.42.

Though the Packers need help on the offensive line and in their linebacking corps, that talent can be found in later rounds. Engram is the most dynamic player on the board at this point and give Aaron Rodgers yet another body to whom he can spread the ball around.
. TE. Ole Miss. Evan Engram. 31. player. 49
