The New England Patriots lost cornerbacks Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner to free agency this past offseason and their secondary is suffering. Right now the Patriots are leaning on Malcolm Butler and Bradley Fletcher on the outside.

Look for the Patriots to address their secondary in this draft early, and with Tennessee’s Cameron Sutton on the board, he could be the answer. Sutton has the height at 6’1″ and speed to be an interesting cover corner at the next level.

He is athletic enough to run with receivers and his length will let him compete for balls in the air. He can use his size to jam receivers on the line but also possesses ball hawking abilities. Think of him as a slightly smaller Richard Sherman potentially.

While his coverage abilities are his strong suit, he could be viewed as a liability when it comes to tackling and taking on runners.

It isn’t out of the realm of possibilities that Bill Belichick goes for USC strong safety Su’a Cravens either, if he is still on the board. He could be the throw back Rodney Harrison bruiser of the Patriots defense, but we think he’ll address the outside first.
. CB. Tennessee. Cameron Sutton. 32. player. 47
