Jordan Reed-TE-Washington Redskins (41.7%)

Reed missed two games with his latest concussion, but when he’s been on the field this season he has been an impact option for the Washington passing game.  He’s going to have to work to shed his injury-prone label, but he is definitely a top-ten tight end when he takes the field with Kirk Cousins under center.

Last week in the Redskins rally against Tampa, Reed caught the game-winning touchdown as one of his two scores on the day.   He hauled in an impressive total of 11 passes on his 13 targets and finished with 72 yards to go with his two touchdowns.  Reed has at least six catches and 60 yards in every game he has been able to finish and makes a great play in PPR leagues since he has become Cousins’ favorite target.

If you need a tight end fill-in for week 8, don’t pick up Reed since he is on his bye week, but he’s worth adding and stashing on your bench this week if you’re looking for a position upgrade for the rest of the season. Reed and Washington will take on the Patriots when they return week 9 and then face a pair of NFC South teams as they take on the Saints and Panthers.
