32. Jones AT&T Stadium (Texas Tech)

The overwhelming support of Texas Tech football by its fans has been impressive over the years. The Red Raiders have seen some pretty solid teams over the last few seasons and with new head coach Kliff Kingsbury in town, the future looks very bright – especially since he’s one of the youngest in the game.

Though it may not seem like a big deal, but the Red Raiders’ faithful have packed into Jones AT&T Stadium over the course of its 68-year history, allowing Texas Tech to accumulate a home winning percentage of over 67 percent.

When it first opened in 1947, the stadium only allowed for 27,000 fans, but after multiple renovations, Jones AT&T can now fit about 60,000 red and black clad individuals who make for one of the most intense and raucous home-field environments in the Big 12.

One of the most unique features the stadium has is one of the largest jumbotrons in college football on one side of the field and a “double T” scoreboard on the other, representing the logo of the school.

Upgrades have been made to seating, parking and press boxes throughout the years as millions of donor dollars have been spent to make the fan experience one of the best in all of college football.

Fans with faces painted in black and spiked shoulder pads might be one of the most intimidating sights in the Big 12.
