4. Notre Dame Stadium (Notre Dame)

Many people consider Notre Dame one of those annoying college football teams that enter each season overrated, or as of right now, are overrated in the most important polls such as the newly-released College Football Playoff rankings.

Notre Dame Stadium is home to one of the oldest college football teams and the one with the highest winning rate all-time at an incredible 73 percent. The 890-311-42 all-time record might have something to do with the home-field advantage that this team has every Saturday in front of 80,000 of the most hostile fans you’ll ever meet.

One of the most surreal sights in all of sports is “Touchdown Jesus” which overlooks the stadium and got its name because it’s a mural that actually resembles Jesus throwing his hands up in the air, signaling a Notre Dame touchdown.

Not only that, but as players leave the locker room, they tap the “Play Like a Champion Today” sign on the stairwell before heading into the tunnel and onto the field.

When in South Bend, Ind., on one of the most beautiful college campuses in America, you will realize just why Rudy was so honored to be part of such an incredible football program.

Imagine running onto the field in front of a wave of screaming Fighting Irish fans – quite possibly the most passionate, loyal and out-stretched fan base in sports. Being part of a program that has seen 13 national champions is something out of a story book and this stadium has all the feels.
