5. Autzen Stadium (Oregon)

A couple of years ago, the NCAA released a list of the loudest stadiums in the entire nation – all of which have been named on this list – and Oregon’s Autzen Stadium came in second place.

Watching the Duck mascot roll out of the tunnel on a motorcycle, bringing out the rest of the Oregon players with him might induce some nightmares for opposing teams. This boisterous crowd is not one you would like to encounter as rarely do you see teams come into Autzen and steal a win from the Ducks – don’t tell that to the Utah Utes, though, as they dismantled the Ducks early in 2015.

The Eugene-based stadium is the top venue in the Pac-12 and opened in 1967 when it fit just 41,000. While the stadium has grown to just 54,000 presently, there is no shortage of hostility from the fans to the opposing teams.

This place gets as rowdy as any every week as it’s always packed, most likely due to the fact that Oregon has been more successful in the past decade-plus than it has had in the 100 years prior to that.

Want to see the Duck mascot break a sweat? Well, you’re in luck as he has made it a tradition to do as many push ups after a score as the Ducks have points at the time. In recent years, the Duck mascot has had to be in pretty good shape to hold that position.

While this stadium has been completely updated since it was built, as the home of Nike likes to take care of its favorite school, fans still love the tradition behind it.
