A monkey rode a dog during Bengals-Texans (Video)
Monday Night Football was made for monkeys riding dogs
The Houston Texans came into their Monday Night Football matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals trying to hand the Bengals their first loss of the season. The Texans, after an incredibly slow start to the year, were looking for a rebirth in 2015 given the opportunities to make noise in a wide-open AFC South. However, nothing in the Monday Night Football game actually compared to one of the halftime shows in Cincinnati.
Whether you were ever or aware of it or not, the entertainment in Cincy made it abundantly clear that what the world has always needed was monkeys riding dogs across the field:
I will take 60 minutes of this over 60 minutes of Brian Hoyer/T.J. Yates taking on Andy Dalton every day of the week. That monkey is wearing a cowboy hat and looks like he was born to be riding on the back of that dog and it is the greatest thing that this world has to offer.
It might seem like slight hyperbole to say that a monkey riding a dog is the highlight of a professional football game, however, it’s 100 percent true. A monkey riding a dog is far more entertaining than a game that saw nine points be put on the board in the first 45 minutes of play. Even if that wasn’t the case, the monkey still might come out ahead.
