Davante Adams-Green Bay Packers

Last week in the Packers loss to Detroit, Adams was targeted an absolutely crazy 21 times by Aaron Rodgers.  He was able to haul in ten of those passes for 79 yards to lead the team in receiving. The Packers offense is struggling, but Adams is still a good play for today based on the volume of work he’s getting right now from Aaron Rodgers.

Adams was targeted twice as often as Randall Cobb last week (ten targets) and ten times as much as early-season hero James Jones (two targets).  While he still hasn’t scored an NFL touchdown, Adams is a safe play today since he’s clearly become one of Rodgers’ go-to options in the passing game. Adams missed a huge chunk of the middle of the season with an ankle injury, but he looks healthy and ready to contribute coming down the stretch.

For week 11 against the Vikings, Adams is remarkably affordable on DraftKings(4,600) and still a pretty solid bargain on FanDuel (6,800).  He is actually available on the waiver wire in a quarter of ESPN leagues as well, and he should be added in all formats.  Adams could be getting healthy just in time for your fantasy football playoff push in season-long leagues, so add him if you can since he could go off once he starts catching a higher percentage of his high-volume workload
