Dontrelle Inman-San Diego Chargers

Another WR corps that has been hit hard by injury the last few weeks has been the San Diego Chargers. Keenan Allen was lost for the season to a kidney injury and Malcom Floyd could be headed the same way after a shoulder injury last week.  Floyd hasn’t been ruled out for the year yet, but he won’t play this week.

With Allen and Floyd out, Stevie Johnson will be the team’s number one option at receiver, but Dontrelle Inman will get plenty of work as well as he moves into the starting lineup across from Johnson.  Inman is in his second season out of Virginia and has already set career highs in almost every category after playing sparingly last year in his rookie campaign.  Inman has played more the last four weeks, though, and has three catches in three different games this season including the Chargers last game, their week 9 loss to the Bears on Monday Night Football. Inman finished that game with three catches for 28 yards on his five targets.

Inman will need to step up today against the Chiefs, and his increased usage makes him an intriguing option at the bottom of the salary structure on both DraftKings (3,000) and FanDuel (5,000).  He is currently available in 94% of ESPN leagues and if you can’t grab Wilson as a flier or don’t like his matchup, give Inman a look if you’re desperate for receivers this Sunday.
