The Buffalo Bills came out guns blazing against the Kansas City Chiefs and it looked like they were going to run all over Arrowhead Stadium. That turned out not to be the case despite a hot start.

A pair of Sammy Watkins touchdowns gave the Bulls a 16-y lead late in the second quarter. The drive after the second Watkins touchdown is where the tides turned against the Bills. Alex Smith found Jeremy Maclin for a 41-yard touchdown on a two-play 80-yard drive. That score narrowed the gap to two points heading into half-time.

The Chiefs then opened the third quarter with 10 points and tacked on a pair of field goals in the fourth quarter to win the game.

The lone Bills score in the second half was a 10-yard touchdown pass to LeSean McCoy, capping a nine-play 70-yard drive.

The Bills offense was clicking early in the game only for the team to fall apart in the second half. The Bills got a three-touchdown performance with zero interceptions out of quarterback Tyrod Taylor and let it slip away.

Perhaps it was the rain and weather that got to the Bills. They play a Houston Texans team next week that looks formidable.
