51.
The NFC West has been a tough division for years, with the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks all reaching or winning the Super Bowl. The St. Louis Rams were always trying to contend in a tough division and sometimes their record wasn’t always an accurate indicator of how good they were.

This year that doesn’t seem to be true and the St. Louis Rams have been floundering just above the San Francisco 49ers in the division and the Arizona Cardinals blew out the Rams at home, 27-3.
Nick Foles completed less than half his passes for a measly 146 yards and an interception. Running back Todd Gurley was held in check running for 41 yards off of nine carries, but 34 of those came off of a single run.

The Rams stay at home to play the Detroit Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, two teams that could easily be wins and easily be losses. That two game stretch could very well determine the outcome of the season, if they can reach for 7-9 or if they spiral down towards the bottom of the conference and a top-tier draft pick.

The latter option might be better at this point.
.
